Hi, I'm Shashank. Welcome to my website.

I am a tech enthusiast, having tried my hands at just about everything, from autonomous vehicle development and software engineering to data science and artificial intelligence.

Although I would not consider myself an expert in any of these domains, I have constantly been trying to learn and improve my skill sets and would love the opportunity to do the same at an organization where learning and growth are promoted.

I am currently working as a Senior Analyst, Customer Analytics and Technology at Saks, working in the Advanced Analytics and Data Science team, creating scalable end-to-end ETL pipelines for 60+ email triggers to process large-scale customer behavior data. I have prior full-time work experience as a Data Engineer at Cognizant for a year, acquiring critical skills in developing ETL infrastructure using both on-prem and cloud infrastructure, Database Management, and Data Analytics.

I also worked as a Data Engineering intern at NBCUniversal, collaborating with the ML Engineering team to train and deploy a Large Language Model (LLM) for SQL query generation to answer questions about Peacock’s database to support the Data Analytics team.

I have a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from NYU and have recently become a GCP Certified Associate Cloud Engineer.

I am actively pursuing exciting full-time opportunities in Data Engineering, DevOps, and Data Science.
